Born in 1965, Tokyo, Japan. Unlike studio artists, Ozawa bases his artistic production through communication, interaction and dialogue. Drawing attention to the dynamic and phenomenal encounter between human interactions in everyday life, Ozawa blends real-life incidents, situations and materials to create works that directs the focus to issues central to social and political life. By incorporating participants of diverse backgrounds, his objective is to offer a space for discussion on issues such as conflict, war and injustice using the formation of his works as the catalyst for dialogue and encounter. Currently live s and works in Tokyo.
